What you will do!You will provide support to bank loan customers and all other operational functions of the lending area by responding to internal and external customer inquiries, resolving all types of operational issues and processing of various monetary and non-monetary loan requests.
You will also provide phone support and process various loan maintenance requests such as address change, auto-pay, ACH, etc.
You will adhere to Bank policies, procedures, and best practices, along with all State and Federal rules and regulations.
How you will do it! Scan and/or utilize pdf functionality to save items electronically on shared drives.
Paid Loan Processing:
Prepare release of cancelled loan documentation, prepare release of various collateral types, prepare loan payoff overages, manage paid loan filing system.
Insurance Portfolio Management:
Set up, monitor, and update insurance tickler data, follow up on expired/cancelled/reinstated insurance notifications with lender, agent and/or borrower.
Understand GL's and use of tickets for debit and credit transactions.
Loan Monetary Transactions:
process loan payments (P&I, Int & Esc), loan advances, loan pay downs, intra bank monetary transactions, wire transfers, participation payments, fees (i.
e.
, late charge fee waiver) and non-accrual/charge-off payments.
Review system reports; complete appropriate maintenance and resolution of any errors.
Engage in cross-training activities within the Loan Ops team to support workflow during peak times or absences.
Attend all suggested training and/or webinar classes as assigned.
May perform other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the bank.
Qualifications you will need! High School diploma or equivalent education.
1-2 years' experience in customer service within the banking environment or equivalent training and/ or experience.
A good understanding of bank operations.
It would be a bonus if you have!Experience with FIS as a core processor, including BIC report writing and Connections relay reports.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
